Leddy Group is seeking a CMM Programmer in Northfield. Candidates must:
Able to perform highly diversified operations to perform 100 % inspections on a variety of castings, especially those of extreme size and complexity, using a co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) and use any of the standard or special inspection equipment available in the department to perform the required inspection work. Be creative and come up with set-ups on CMM to be able to check whats needed with one set-up, if possible.
Must have a complete understanding of casting 3-2-1 alignments and able to understand and decipher very complex blueprints. To create a datum set-up if the blue print doesnt have one. Create iterative alignments on 3-2-1 set-ups in PC DMIS to get the best possible set-up to nominals.
Test programs and instructions to prove there are no errors for cmm operator use. Includes transferring programs to other cmm and testing for errors and making sure everything works correctly.
Provide data reports and visual reports, (hyper-reports), for all programs that require such information for Engineers or customers.
Provide tag data reports and visual reports for the Quality department to report to the customer to help their disposition of discrepant castings.
Perform Scripting at the end of some programs that require 100% checks on parts. Enable scripting to be copied to an Excel file and use calculations in Excel to extract all the data in to an AS9102A form or customer form, so all information is reported correctly just by copying and pasting.
Fabrication of parts and manipulating tooling points: Must be able to engineer all of the data and make a decision on how to best fit a casting within the tolerance zones on the blueprints or models. Must be able to come up with set-ups to blend tooling points, to take off the correct amount required for each tooling point. Contact Leddy Group to apply. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
